You may return most items purchased from buildyt.shop within 30 days of receiving your order, provided the following conditions are met:
The item is unused, undamaged, and in its original condition.
The item is in its original packaging with all tags, manuals, and accessories included.
You have proof of purchase (order number or confirmation email/SMS).
The following items cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or defective:
Items that have been used, assembled, installed, or altered after delivery.
Items returned without original packaging or missing components.
Hygiene-sensitive products where the seal has been broken (e.g. personal care items).
Items returned after the 30-day return window has expired.
Starting a return is simple. Follow these steps:

Receive Return Instructions
Our team will review your request and provide you with a return shipping label and detailed instructions within 1–2 business days.
Pack & Ship the Item
Securely repack the item in its original packaging and hand it to the courier or drop it off at the designated point. Keep your return tracking number for reference.
Refund Processed
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, your refund will be processed. You'll receive a confirmation email once it's complete.
Processing Time
Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.
Cash on Delivery Orders
For orders paid via COD, refunds are issued via bank transfer to the account you provide. We will request your bank details securely during the return process.
Refund Amount
You will receive a full refund of the product price. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to a defective or incorrect item.
Partial Refunds
In some cases, a partial refund may be issued if the item shows signs of use, damage, or is returned with missing parts. We will notify you before processing a partial refund.
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. To help us resolve the issue quickly:
Take clear photos of the damage, including the packaging.
Provide your order number and a brief description of the issue.
Do not discard the item or packaging until the return is resolved.
For damaged or defective items, we cover return shipping costs and will arrange a free replacement or full refund — no questions asked.
We do not offer direct exchanges at this time. If you wish to exchange an item, please initiate a return for the original product and place a new order for the replacement item. Our team will prioritise your new order to minimise any delay.
You may cancel your order at any time before it has been dispatched. To cancel:

If the order has already been dispatched, cancellation is no longer possible. You may return the item once delivered following the return process above.
Cancelled COD orders do not incur any charges.
Under EU consumer protection law (Directive 2011/83/EU), you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without providing a reason. This right is in addition to our 30-day return policy.
